The Benefits of Knowledge Worker Performance

The question most business ask before starting on a change process, is 'What will be the benefits?'  In the case of Knowledge Worker Performance, the benefits derive from a number of sources:

  • Knowledge workers work with customers - as their performance improves, so will customer satisfaction, and hence sales.
  • Knowledge workers produce new products - as they perform better, so will the product, down will come costs and up will go sales.
  • Knowledge Workers are involved in sales and marketing - as they perform better, sales and brand value will increase.
  • Knowledge workers make change happen - as they perform better, change will happen faster.
  • Knowledge workers analyse data - as they perform better, your understanding of your markets and business will improve.

Whilst this is quite a high level view of benefits, they cascade into hard numbers.  In this section we include articles looking at both current Knowledge Worker performance and how to quantify the benefits of improving it.  Click here to read more about this topic........
